The Book Collections named after Arturo Genre and Teofilo G. Pons include the works of the two researchers in occitan language and local culture, born in the Germanasca Valley.
Arturo Genre (1937-1997), born in Marseille, took a degree in Modern Foreign Languages and Literatures at the Letters and Philosophy Faculty of the Torino University, where he teached Experimental Phonetics. He worked through twenty five years to the Toponomastic Atlas of Mountain Piedmont.

His most important works are: La Bouno Nouvèllo sëgount Marc, translation in occitan language of the Gospel according to St. Marc (1978), and the Dizionario del dialetto occitano della Val Germanasca (1997), new edition and integration of the previous Dizionario by Teofilo G. Pons.
The Collection Arturo Genre includes more than 200 titles, published in different newspapers, magazines and university publications, between 1965 and 1997.
