The skill of doing craft work was quite popular and usually it was patrimony of at least a member of each family unit. For more intricate crafts, like cobbling, for example, one or two experts could be found in each village. These kinds of activities would be usually done at home in winter time, often during the evening vigils.

The models reproduce the various crafts of the past (the work of the shoemaker, the charcoal burner...) and are an excellent starting point to tell "how they did it."
