Social life was expressed in various forms: with the winter vigils in the stables, where several generations from different families would meet; with the Sunday services, where people used to go, dressed in their best, having a break from all work, because that was everyone’s day off; with the yearly meetings either of the mutual aid association for cattle or of the consortiums for the mountain pastures. The heads of many small villages’ would attend these meetings. Feast days like Sundays, or wedding ceremonies, or the gathering of conscripts were all highly appreciated moments of social life. These were all good opportunities for meeting other people, and the young would dance to the sound of the diatonic accordion or of the clarinet.
The models reproduce the moment of waking winter in the stable environment of the farm with his tools and that of small schools in the mountains.
